Who am I?
I'm a 40-something M.Sc. student with three children from Helsinki. I spend my free time with my family and sports. In the last ten years I have completed three full distance Ironman races, which has been a good counterbalance to my work. In addition to triathlon, I also enjoy weightlifting, skiing or holding a good book.
I am interested in how marketing influences the success and growth of companies. From what I hear, I'm an approachable and easy-going guy who gets on well with almost anyone. I'm used to working in challenging places and challenging projects are something I'm also looking for as an entrepreneur.
In the world of marketing, I'm a generalist who understands marketing in a broad sense, from brand building to performance marketing and from technology to customer experience.
I've had a long career in brands and brand building. At the same time, I am always looking for evidence that marketing makes a difference to the business, brings results and therefore euros to the company's coffers.
A CURIOUS REFORMER
I jump easily into new and interesting things because I'm curious. My strengths are getting new things or projects off the ground, and leading change towards a new and better way of working.
I started my career in marketing at Red Bull, from where I moved to Hartwall to relaunch the Heineken brand in Finland, and to lead Hartwall's digital marketing.
After Hartwall, I worked for Google for four years and was responsible, among other things, for YouTube's business in Finland, as well as most of Google's Finnish clients.
Most recently, I worked as a member of the management team of Touhula day care centres, owned by private equity investor EQT. My key learnings from there related to the fast pace of a growth company, change management and improving the customer experience.
In these roles, I have held demanding marketing, B2B sales and communications roles, creating growth in a variety of ways. I adapt well to change and am at my best in a fast-paced environment. As an entrepreneur, I focus on interim CMO projects as well as marketing consulting.
I BELIEVE IN GROWTH
My particular expertise is in digital marketing and building brands and growth.

I see that in many Finnish companies, marketing is still a function that has not received enough attention and should be taken to the next level. With my own experience and expertise, any company can take a leap forward and make marketing profitable and business impactful.
